Presenter Bio:
Gerry Mayo is the VP Operations at PF Collins International Trade Solutions, responsible for managing the company’s Freight Forwarding, Warehousing, Marine Agency, and Immigration Consulting departments.
A Chartered Professional Accountant and experienced executive manager, Gerry has held senior leadership positions in both the private and public sectors. His formal education includes a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) from Memorial University, a Diploma in Project Management from the Norwegian School of Management, and extensive subsea technical, operations, and equipment training.
As the Chair of the Board of Directors of Energy NL, Gerry works tirelessly to promote the development and growth of Newfoundland and Labrador’s energy industry. Throughout his 5 year tenure on the board he has advocated on behalf of the industry during some of its most significant challenges, including the COVID pandemic, an industry downturn, and delays in project approvals.
With 25 years’ experience in the Energy Industry and a passion for all things Newfoundland and Labrador, Gerry is a tireless supporter of the Energy Industry and the promotion of local benefits for Newfoundland and Labrador businesses.
When not working, Gerry enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters, his Australian Labradoodle, Sadie, and contributing to various charitable and community organizations. An avid runner he regularly participates in local and out of province road races, including the Tely 10 and the grueling Cape to Cabot.
